I live in Sydney, Australia and have just noticed your web-site. I have given my commitment to Our Blessed Lord & Mother that my target for release of souls from Purgatory is One Billion. I commenced in July this year & have to date released just over 10,500,000 souls. I keep a daily log of the prayers. I expect to release by end of November next month 20 million souls from Purgatory. My immediate target is 100 Million then the grand target is 1 Billion. It currently takes 4 hours of prayer to release 1 million souls. When I get to the 100 million I will let you know. Keep up the good work. I would be interested to know if anyone else has a similar target or goal? Gary Silis, Sydney, Australia (check out "Mission to Empty Purgatory" at www.mtep.com - E.D.)

I am a member of the "purgatorian society" in my country and my mother is also a member too. I must tell you that praying for the dead has done a great deal to the lives of my entire family since the passing away of my lovely father. Okoye Maximus, Kenya

Your greetings really touched my heart. You see I came over here in Maryland, USA to work as a nurse last September 13 this year and I feel really homesick. It is so nice to think that some people remembered. Louella Bulasa, Maryland, USA

Chi Cruz and Eugene Lao in Fatima, Portugal

I left copies of Read Me or Rue It in Portugal, Spain, France, Italy & Rome. I personally gave some copies to some pilgrims who can speak English. Since I’m in a group tour, I didn’t have enough time to explain to them about PWHS. I only managed to get 2 signed Application Forms in Rome. I really wanted to visit the Monastery Pius XII in Fatima Portugal but our schedule was really hectic. My experience in PWHS as a photographer became very handy during our processions in Fatima & in Lourdes. Despite huge crowd, I was able to squeeze my way to the front of the procession & was able to take good pictures of our Lady. We also had an audience with the Pope. I was fortunate to get a seat along the aisle and was able to take a good picture of the Pope. Among the places we visited, my experience in Lourdes was the most touching. When I was immersed in the tub, I forgot all the prayers & cried while staring at the image of Mama Mary. I did not feel the chilling water & was just awed that I’m actually there where the miracle happened. I felt that she was truly a Mother who cared for me and healed me 5 years ago. Thanks so much for your trust in me. I’ll keep on writing for PWHS for as long as I’m needed. Chi Cruz, LA, USA

Thank you very much for your early greeting. I thought this would be the most lonesome birthday I would ever have coz its my first birthday without my beloved spouse PAUL.  Since his death last June 10 of this year, life for me seems so boring at times.  I just find my consolation from my two kids, my family and from my everyday prayer of Read Me or Rue It. I feel so blessed having come across the little booklet and finding your website.  I just cant describe the feeling of being a member of the Prayer Warriors for the Holy Souls, its so overwhelming and so joyous knowing that there are also people like me who are grieving for the loss of their loved ones.  I just don’t know till when would this pain last but I know for sure that GOD has never left me. Thank you once again to you and to the whole of PRAYER WARRIORS FOR THE HOLY SOULS.  GOD BLESS US ALL! Brenda Jueco, Metro Manila

As we remember the humble birth of Jesus, may you receive new peace and new life. As we look upon the lowly manger in Bethlehem, may you find peace, joy and love! +Socrates B. Villegas, Bishop of Balanga

Thank you for keeping me updated about your apostolate for the Holy Souls. If you are going to send the novena for the Poor Souls to our priests, better send the English edition. I think the Nihil Obstat and Imprimatur of Fr. Sescon and Cardinal Sin respectively can stand by themselves. Certainly, I am fully recommending and endorsing this apostolate for the Souls in Purgatory. Archbishop Angel N. Lagdameo, Archbishop of Jaro, Iloilo City

Definitely, the November 1 and 2 will be given special stress in the liturgical rites and blessings on those days in all the parishes of the Vicariate and the materials you sent will be useful to bring awareness of the "plight of the souls in Purgatory and of their need for our alms of prayer and sacrifice." Bishop Antonio P. Palang, SVD, DD, Vicar Apostolic of San Jose, Occidental Mindoro

Thank you for organizing this foundation – it helped us become aware about holy souls in purgatory. I’m glad and I’m proud to be a member since early this year. And in my own little way I’ve been spreading this awareness by giving away READ ME OR Rue IT booklets, mass intentions, and this little donation. Crestita A. Carinan, Dumaguete City

I have been wanting to send even just a line but just now your lovely magazine came (which I not only enjoy reading but I also profit from it) and I do want to thank you. At the same time, it makes its round in the community and so I know others also profit. We have a community very devoted to our Poor Souls. Sr. John, OCD, Naga City, Camarines Sur

Thank you once again for the "Fore and Aft" . I’m so happy you always include important materials from the L’Osservatory Romano especially the Holy Father’s letter on the Year of the Eucharist. This is a beautiful way of evangelizing our people and making the faithful aware of the many important and beautiful teachings of the Holy Mother Church and also the inspiring messages of the Holy Father. I am a widow and I was delighted by the written homily of Bishop Tagle in your July-Sept 2004 issue (Fore n Aft). The article helped me a lot in my grief. Can I have the complete homily? Lilia Magno
